About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning procedure of strategic ecological assessment

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:

1. Paragraph two of the Item "and" of part one of article 20-2 of the Law "About Protection of the Surrounding Environment" (The sheet of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1991, No. 41, of Art. 546 with subsequent changes), after the words "about environmental impact assessment" to add with the words "about strategic ecological assessment".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About strategic ecological assessment" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2018, No. 16, Art. 138; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of July 9, 2022 No. 2389-IX):

Part one of Article 5 to add 1) with Items 8 and 9 of the following content:

"Enters 8) in the Unified register of strategic ecological assessment of the data according to Procedure for maintaining the Unified register of strategic ecological assessment;

9) performs other powers according to the law";

2) in Article 6 part one:

state Item 5 in the following edition:

"5) if necessary involves other executive bodies or local government bodies, specialists and scientists in the consultations held according to articles 13-15 of this Law";

add with Items 8-1 and 8-2 of the following content:

"8-1) provides administration of the Unified register of strategic ecological assessment;

8-2) enters in the Unified register of strategic ecological assessment of the data according to Procedure for maintaining the Unified register of strategic ecological assessment";

state Item 9 in the following edition:

"9) performs other powers according to the law";

3) in Article 7 part one:

state Item 3 in the following edition:

"3) if necessary involves other executive bodies or local government bodies, specialists and scientists in the consultations held according to article 13 of this Law";
