Regulations on the state control of compliance with law of the Russian Federation on foreign agents

I. General provisions

1. This Provision establishes procedure for the organization and implementation of the state control of compliance with law of the Russian Federation about foreign agents (further - the state control).

2. For the purpose of this provision controlled persons are understood as foreign agents, and also persons specified in parts 2 and 5 of article 1 of the Federal Law "About Control of Activities of Persons Which Are under Foreign Influence".

3. Subject of the state control is observance by controlled persons of the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents, in particular the Federal Law "About Control of Activities of Persons Which Are under Foreign Influence", other Federal Laws, other regulatory legal acts regulating activities of foreign agents (further - the legislation on foreign agents).

4. Objects of the state control are activities, actions (failure to act) of controlled persons.

5. Tasks of the state control are the prevention, identification and suppression of violations of requirements of the legislation on foreign agents.
