About measures for ensuring economic safety of the Kyrgyz Republic

For the purpose of ensuring financial and economic safety, stabilization of situation in the domestic foreign exchange market, and also protection of national interests of the Kyrgyz Republic, according to articles 13, of the 17th constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic" the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic decides:

1. Establish:

1) temporary ban on export from the Kyrgyz Republic of cash foreign currency before adoption of the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic:

- to nonresidents and foreign citizens in the amount more than 5000 (five thousand) cash US dollars;

- to residents and citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the amount more than 10000 (ten thousand) cash US dollars;

2) that, in case of export by residents and citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic of cash US dollars in the amount exceeding 10000 (ten thousand) US dollars the payment in the amount of 10% of the amount exceeding the set limit is levied.

1-1. Determine that this resolution does not extend to commercial banks, exchange bureaus, the microfinance and microcredit companies of the Kyrgyz Republic having the license of National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic for the right of carrying out exchange transactions with cash foreign currency.

2. To the border service of the State committee of homeland security of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic to take the necessary measures directed to suppression of export of the cash US dollars specified in Item 1 of this resolution.

3. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the vice-chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic - the chairman of the State committee of homeland security of the Kyrgyz Republic.

4. This resolution becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
