About introduction of amendments to the Law on irrigational associations No. 171/2010

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on irrigational associations No. 171/2010 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2010, No. 160-162, of the Art. 588), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In Article 1:

in part (1):

in Item b) shall be replaced with words the words "belonging to the private sphere of the state;" "the being public or private property;";

in Item c) words "the being property of the state, and also the irrigational infrastructure which is in common ownership." shall be replaced with words "being in property of the state or administrative and territorial units, and also in private property.";

in part (2) words "the body of the public power performing the right of state-owned property" shall be replaced with words "administrative authority which on behalf of the state manages the irrigational and/or drainage infrastructure which is in property of the state, the local authorities of the public power and persons having private systems in property".

2. In Article 2:

"irrigational association (further - Association) - the form of merging of the physical persons and legal entities using water for irrigation according to provisions of this law, created for the purpose of management, operation and content in public concerns and for the benefit of the members of irrigating and/or drainage system that formed the basis of creation of this form of consolidation;";
