being guided by regulations of the Agreement of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States on cooperation in the field of education of May 15, 1992,

aiming to develop and enhance equality and cooperation in the fields of education and sciences,

understanding readiness of both states for full cooperation in the fields of education and sciences,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties, encouraging development of the relations between two countries in the field of education, will help:

a) to direct cooperation, contacts and exchange between the organizations connected with education and also to direct cooperation, contacts and exchange between educators of two countries;

b) to studying and teaching languages and literatures of the state of other Party;

c) to joint development of techniques of teaching, training materials and programs, and also exchange of developed techniques of teaching, training materials and programs;

d) to provision on mutual basis of grants to students, graduate students and trainees;

e) to the conclusion of the special agreement concerning equivalence of academic degrees and ranks, and also education documents.

Article 2

For the purpose of development of the relations between two countries in the field of science and technologies of the Party will help:

a) to direct cooperation of the scientific organizations, collectives and certain scientists in the field of fundamental and applied science;

b) to exchange of scientific delegations, and also certain scientists;

c) to exchange of scientific and scientific and technical information and documentation;

d) to joint carrying out scientific symposiums, seminars, conferences and meetings;

e) to joint holding scientific exhibitions and demonstrations;
