About introduction of amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About official statistics"

Article 1.

Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About official statistics" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2019, Art. No. 7-8, 470) the following changes:

1) in Article 4:

1. The chairman of National Statistical Committee has the right to establish other consultative bodies with the members who are belonging or not belonging to national statistical system in support of the strategic and coordinating activities in official statistics.

2. The procedure for activities and structure of consultative bodies are regulated by the provision approved by the chairman of National Statistical Committee.";

4) in parts 2 and 3 of Article 13 the word "Government" in different case forms shall be replaced with words "Cabinet of Ministers" in the corresponding cases;

Article 19 to state 5) in the following edition:

"Article 19. Census

1. The census means the action providing collection and data acquisition on the basis of carrying out continuous accounting, containing some characteristics about the number and structure of the population, housing stock, agricultural and economic units.

2. These censuses are created on the basis of statistical inspections of administrative data, other sources or in case of combination of the above-designated options.
