In the country large-scale work on enhancement of security system of traffic, directed including on increase in culture of observance of traffic regulations by drivers and pedestrians, improvement of system of preparation and retraining of drivers, and also complete digitalization of the organization of traffic by expansion of implementation of the advanced information and communication technologies is carried out.

At the same time now there is need of determination in the field of conducting activities for preparation, retraining and advanced training of drivers of automotor-vehicles and means of urban electric transportation of single authorized state body on control of observance of requirements and conditions, stipulated by the legislation, and also on control in system of training processes, theoretical and practice examinations.

This Law provides determination of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan by authorized body on licensing of activities for preparation and retraining of drivers of automotor-vehicles and means of urban electric transportation, and also the activities for advanced training of drivers of automotor-vehicles and means of urban electric transportation performed in notifying procedure.

This Law will serve increase in system effectiveness of preparation, retraining and advanced training of drivers in the country.
