About additional measures for protection and ensuring rational use of pastures

For the purpose of protection of pastures in our country, ensuring their rational use, and also further development of cultivation of giant-fennel and broad application of resource-saving technologies on pastures:

1. To the Ministry of Agriculture, Committee on development of silkworm breeding and woolen industry under the Ministry of Agriculture (further - Committee) at the expense of grants of the international financial institutions in the amount of 7, of 8 million US dollars in cooperation with leading companies of Spain and Portugal in 2023 to take measures on:

to creation in the Kashkadarya and Samarkand regions of the companies for production of the compound feeds enriched with vitamins and minerals for small cattle with annual capacity of 10 thousand tons;

the organizations in the Samarkand region of Laboratory of genetic researches of the cattle based on Research institution of karakul breeding and ecology of deserts;

digital identification of 500 thousand heads of small cattle in karakulevodchesky breeding farms - members of Association on development of pasturable farms.

At the same time 800 hectares of the pastures belonging to Committee will be mastered by the companies for production of compound feeds for cultivation of grain with establishment of technology of dozhdevalny irrigation.

2. To the Ministry of Agriculture (A. Voitov), to Committee (B. Sharipov) at the expense of the raised funds of the international financial institutions to implement on 500 hectares of the pastures belonging to Committee, model pilot project on production of underground waters the pumping aggregates working at solar energy and also to implementation of technology of drop irrigation.

3. To the Ministry of Agriculture (A. Voitov) to take measures for allocation of the grant means of the international financial institutions, including the French agency of development (allocated for development of livestock production), attracted to the actions provided in Items 1 and 2 of this Decree.
