About associations of intercommunitarian development

Chapter I General provisions

Article 1. Purpose of the law and subject of regulation

(1) the Purpose of this law is creation of the regulatory base for organization and functioning of associations of intercommunitarian development.

(2) This law regulates procedure for organization, activities, functioning, reorganization and liquidation of associations of intercommunitarian development.

(3) Provisions of the Law on state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs No. 220/2007 extend to associations of intercommunitarian development in that measure in which they do not contradict this law.

(4) Associations of intercommunitarian development do not fall under operation of the Law on non-profit organizations No. 86/2020.

Article 2. General concepts

For the purposes of this law the following basic concepts are used:

association of intercommunitarian development (further - association) - the non-commercial, non-political consolidation with the status of the legal entity founded according to the legislation two or more administrative and territorial units for joint projects implementation of development of local or regional value or for joint provision / rendering of public services;

the special order - the powers conferred by local council of administrative-territorial member unit of association, or People's Assembly of Gagauzia whether it be to the representative of the relevant council / People's Assembly of Gagauzia in governing bodies of association, whether it be the association for implementation of one or more certain legal transactions;
