This Law governs the relations arising when implementing innovative activities in the Kyrgyz Republic.
For the purposes of this Law the following main terms are used:
1) business angel - physical person which makes the personal funds in perspective projects at early stages of their development;
2) introduction in civil (economic) circulation of innovative product - making of any transactions which subject are transition to other person of property rights to innovative product or rendering new type of service, and also use of innovative product for own needs;
3) venture activities - the activities for financing of commercial realization of innovation performed by the venture capital companies and funds, business angels, physical persons and legal entities operating in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic;
4) the venture project - the innovative project which financing performs venture fund, venture capital companies and funds, business angels, physical persons and legal entities operating in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic;
5) innovative activities - the activities for transformation of innovation to innovation directed to creation and introduction in civil (economic) circulation of innovative product;
6) innovative infrastructure - set of the subjects performing material, financial, organizational and methodical, information, consulting and other security of innovative activities;
7) innovative product - new or advanced products, technology, service, and also new organizational technical solution of production, administrative, commercial or other nature, which:
a) are created with use of results of intellectual activities, capable to legal protection;
b) have higher technical and economic or other rates in comparison with the analogs provided in certain segment of the market;
c) are competitive;
