About change of the resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus of January 21, 2021 No. 4
Based on Item 2 of article 22 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of June 18, 2019 No. 198-Z "About radiation safety", subitem 9.4 of Item 9 of the Regulations on the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus approved by the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of November 14, 2022 No. 405, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:
1. Bring in the resolution of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus of January 21, 2021 No. 4 "About procedure and criteria of reference of sources of ionizing radiation to categories on degree of radiation hazard" the following changes:
in preamble of the word "7.4 Items 7" and "on December 29, 2006 No. 756" to replace respectively with the words "9.4 Items 9" and "on November 14, 2022 No. 405";
in the Instruction about procedure and criteria of reference of sources of ionizing radiation to categories on degree of the radiation hazard approved by this resolution:
state item 4 in the following edition:
"4. Criteria of classification of III by degree of radiation hazard are the activity of III brought to value of activity, the corresponding dangerous amount of radioactive material according to appendix 2, III scope taking into account the potential danger following from predictable defects and variations from normal operating modes of III.";
in paragraph three of Item 5 of the word "danger indicator" shall be replaced with words "the value of activity corresponding to dangerous amount of radioactive material for";
to be reworded as follows appendix 1 to this Instruction it (is applied);
to state the name of appendix 2 to this Instruction in the following edition:
