Group 02. Meat and edible offal

Note:

1. This group does not include:

(a) products of goods items 0201-0208 or 0210, unsuitable for the use or not used by the person;

(b) edible, lifeless insects (goods item 0410);

(c) guts, bubbles or stomachs of animals (goods item 0504) and blood of animals (goods item 0511 or 3002); or

(d) animal fats, except the products specified in goods item 0209 (group 15).

Additional notes:

1.A. The following terms mean:

(a) "carcasses of cattle" in goods subline items 0201 10 and 0202 10 - the whole flourishes of the killed animal after bleeding, nutrovka and the removals of skin imported with-headed or brainless with legs or without them plant, with not separated offal or without them. If hulks are imported brainless, the head shall be separated ink in atlanto-occipital joint. If hulks are imported without legs, legs shall be chopped off in carpal and metacarpal or mouldy joint. "Hulk" should be considered also front part of soul containing all bones and neck. Besides, cervical part and topribs shall contain more than ten pairs of edges;

(b) "half of carcasses of cattle in goods subline items 0201 10 and 0202 10 - the product received by symmetric separation of the whole ink on the center of everyone cervical, chest, lumbar and sacral vertebrae and on the center of breast and pubic and sciatic union. "Half of ink" should be considered also front part of half of ink, including all bones and neck. Besides, cervical part and topribs shall contain more than ten edges;

(c) "the compensated quarter timbers" in commodity categories 0201 20 20 and 0202 20 10 - the parts of hulks consisting from:

front quarter timber, including all bones and neck, with the cervical part and topribs which is chopped off at the level of the tenth edge, and back quarter timber, including all bones, hips and the lumbar part which is chopped off at the level of the third edge or

front quarter timber, including all bones and neck, with the cervical part and topribs which is chopped off at the level of the fifth edge with all breast and armpit, and back quarter timber, including all bones, hips and the lumbar part which is chopped off at the level of the eighth edge.

The front and back quarter timbers constituting "the compensated quarter timbers" shall be imported at the same time and in equal quantity, and the lump of front quarter timbers shall be equal to the lump of back quarter timbers; the difference between the mass of two parts of batch is allowed provided that it does not exceed 5% of the mass of heavier part of batch (front or back quarter timbers);

(d) "undivided front quarter timbers" in commodity categories 0201 and 0202 20 30 20 30 - front part of ink, including all bones and neck, with cervical part and topribs, numbering four pairs of edges at least ten pairs of edges as at most (the first four pairs of edges shall be whole, and the others can be split), with armpit or without it;

(e) "the divided front quarter timbers" in commodity categories 0201 and 0202 20 30 20 30 - front part of half of ink, including all bones and neck, with cervical part and topribs, numbering four edges at least ten edges as at most (the first four edges shall be whole, and the others can be split), with armpit or without it;

(f) "undivided back quarter timbers" in commodity categories 0201 and 0202 20 50 20 50 - back part of ink, including all bones, hips and lumbar part, including loin which contains at least three pairs of whole or split edges, with shin or without it, with armpit or without it;

(g) "the divided back quarter timbers" in commodity categories 0201 and 0202 20 50 20 50 - back part of half of ink, including all bones, hips and lumbar part, including loin which contains at least three whole or split edges, with shin or without it, with armpit or without it;

(h) 1) juncture "shovel" and "cervical and scapular part" in commodity category 0202 30 50 - back (dorsal) part of front quarter timber which contains the upper part of the vertebral region of scapular part together with four at least or as by at most ten edges and it is received by razrub of ink in a straight line through point of connection of the first edge with the first segment of breast to diaphragm bend point on the tenth edge;

2) juncture "breast cut" in commodity category 0202 30 50 - the lower part of front quarter timber, containing front and back edges of breast cut.

B. Products specified in Items (a) - (g) additional Notes 1.A, can be both with backbone, and without it.

C. In case of determination of number of the whole or split edges according to additional Notes 1. A are taken into account only the edges which are not separated backbone. If the backbone is removed, then in attention those whole or split edges which in the presence of backbone would adjoin to it directly undertake only.

2.A. The following terms mean:

(a) "hulks or half of hulks" in commodity categories 0203 11 10 and 0203 21 10 - carcasses of domestic pigs after bleeding, nutrovka and removals of bristle and hoofs. Half of hulks receive by splitting of the whole ink on the center of each cervical, chest, lumbar and sacral vertebra and for the center of breast and pubic and sciatic union. These hulks or half of hulks can be with-headed or brainless, with legs, renal fat, kidneys, tail, diaphragm or without them. Half of hulks can be with spinal cord, brain, language or without them. Extinguish and parts of carcasses of sows can be with mammary glands or without them;

(b) "gammon (back gammon) "in commodity categories 0203 12 11, 0203 22 11, 0210 11 11 and 0210 11 31 - back (tail) part of half of ink, including bones, with leg, shin, skin and fat or without them.

Gammon separates from half of ink on the line passing not below the last lumbar vertebra;

(c) "first line" in commodity categories 0203 19 11, 0203 29 11, 0210 19 30 and 0210 19 60 - front (head) part of half of brainless ink, including bones, with legs, hough, skin and fat or without them.

The first line separates from half of ink on the line passing not below the fifth chest vertebra.

The upper (back) part of first line which is including or not including scapular bone and adjacent pulp (cervical part, fresh, or cervical part of bacon half, salty), is considered juncture of brisket if it separates from the lower (belly) part of first line by otrubaniye as much as possible on the line passing directly under spine column;

(d) "shovel (front gammon) "in commodity categories 0203 12 19, 0203 22 19, 0210 11 19 and 0210 11 39 - the lower part of first line which is containing or not containing scapular bone and adjacent pulp including bones, with legs, hough, skin and fat or without them.

The scapular bone and the pulp adjoining to it imported separately are considered in this commodity category as part of shovel;

(e) "brisket" in commodity categories 0203 19 13, 0203 29 13, 0210 19 40 and 0210 19 70 - the upper part of half of ink from the first cervical vertebra to tail vertebrae, including bones, with cutting, scapular bone, fat, skin or without them.

Brisket separates from the lower part of half of ink the cabin on the line passing directly under backbone;

(f) "breast cut" in commodity categories 0203 19 15, 0203 29 15, 0210 12 11 and 0210 12 19 - the lower part of half of ink located between back and front gammons known as "streak" (chest part of bacon half with fat layer), with bones or without them, but with skin and fat;

(g) "bacon half" in commodity category 0210 19 10-pork half of brainless ink, jowl (English with? еек), tanks (English chap), legs, tail, renal fat, kidneys, cutting, scapular bone, breast, backbone, pelvic bone and diaphragm;

(h) "spenser" in commodity category 0210 19 10-bacon half without gammon, with bones or without them, rolled or not rolled;

(ij) "three quarters of pork side" in commodity category 0210 19 20-bacon half without first line, with bones or without them, rolled or not rolled;

(k) "core" in commodity category 0210 19 20 - bacon half without gammon and first line, with bones or without them, rolled or not rolled.

This commodity category includes also juncture of core, the containing fabrics of brisket and breast cut is pro rata to their natural content in core in general.

B. Parts of junctures, stipulated in Item (f) additional notes 2. A, join in the same commodity categories only when they have skin and fat.

If juncture, belonging to the commodity categories 0210 11 11, 0210 11 19, 0210 11 31, 0210 11 39, 0210 19 30 and 0210 19th 60, are received from the bacon halves specified in Item (g) additional notes 2. A from which bones are already taken the section shall pass the lines determined according to Items (b), (c) and (d) of the additional note 2.A. Anyway such junctures or parts of junctures shall contain bones.

C. Commodity categories 0206 49 00 and 0210 99 49 include, in particular, the heads or half of the heads of domestic pigs with the removed or not remote brain, jowl (English cheeks) or language and their parts.

The head separates from half of ink thus:

direct otrubaniye parallel to skull; or

juncture parallel to skull to the level of eyes and further obliquely to front part so that to leave tanks (English chaps) attached to half of ink.

Jowls, pork patches and ears and pulp, adjacent to the head, in particular pulp behind skull, are considered as parts of the head. However meat without bones of first line which is provided separately (subnecks (English jowls), tanks (English chaps) or subnecks and tanks together) will belong to commodity categories 0203 19 55, 0203 29 55, 0210 19 50 or 0210 19 81 taking into account specific case.

D. Subcutaneous fat (fat) in commodity categories 0209 10 11 and 0209 10 19 - the fatty tissue located under skin and is connected with it, irrespective of part of ink from which it is received; anyway the mass of fatty tissue shall exceed the mass of skin.

Categories 0209 10 11 and 0209 10 19 include also subcutaneous fat (fat) separated skin.

E. "Dried or smoked" in commodity categories 0210 11 31, 0210 11 39, 0210 12 19 and 0210 19 60-0210 19 89 - products, in which ratio of waters/squirrels (protein = content of nitrogen x 6,25) in meat constitutes no more 2,8.

Content of nitrogen is determined according to ISO 937-1978.

3.A. The stated below terms applied in goods item 0204, mean:

(a) "ink" in goods subline items and categories 0204 10, the 0204th 21, the 0204th 30, the 0204th 41, 0204 50 11 and 0204 50 51 - the whole flourishes of the slaughtered animal what it is after bleeding, nutrovka and the removals of skin imported with the head or without it with legs or without them, and also with other not separated offal or without them. If hulks are imported brainless, the head shall be separated ink in atlanto-occipital joint. If hulks are imported without legs, legs shall be chopped off in carpal and metacarpal or mouldy joint;

(b) "half of hulks" in goods subline items and categories 0204 10, the 0204th 21, the 0204th 30, the 0204th 41, 0204 50 11 and 0204 50 51 - the product received by symmetric separation of the whole ink on the center of everyone cervical, chest, lumbar and sacral vertebrae and on the center of breast and pubic and sciatic union;

(c) "front quarter timbers of short razrub" in commodity categories 0204 22 10, 0204 42 10, 0204 50 13 and 0204 50 53 - front part of ink, with breast cut or without it, containing all bones, shovels, shins, neck, cervical and back part, chopped off perpendicular to backbone also contains at least five and at most seven pairs of edges, whole or split;

(d) "front quarter timber of short razrub" in commodity categories 0204 22 10, 0204 42 10, 0204 50 13 and 0204 50 53 - front part of half of ink, with breast cut or without it, containing all bones, shovel, shin, neck, cervical and back part, chopped off perpendicular to backbone also contains at least five and at most seven edges, whole or split;

(e) "chines of back part and/or kidney parts" in commodity categories 0204 22 30, 0204 42 30, 0204 50 15 and 0204 50 55 - part that remains from ink after removal of coxofemoral parts with bootlegs and front quarter timbers of short razrub with kidneys or without them; in case of department of kidney parts chines of back part shall have at least five lumbar vertebrae; the kidney parts separated chines shall have at least five pairs of edges, whole or split;

(f) "the chine of back part and/or kidney part" in commodity categories 0204 22 30, 0204 42 30, 0204 50 15 and 0204 50 55 - part that remains from half of ink after removal of coxofemoral part with shin and front quarter timber of short razrub with kidney or without it; in case of department of kidney part the chine of back part shall have at least five lumbar vertebrae; kidney part after department from vertebral edge shall have at least five edges, whole or split;

(g) "coxofemoral parts with shin" in commodity categories 0204 22 50, 0204 42 50, 0204 50 19 and 0204 50 59 - back part of half of ink, including all bones and back shins, chopped off at right angle to backbone at the level of the sixth lumbar vertebra directly under podvzdoshny bone or at the level of the fourth sacral vertebra through podvzdoshny bone towards pubic and sciatic union;

(h) "coxofemoral part with shin" in commodity categories 0204 22 50, 0204 42 50, 0204 50 19 and 0204 50 59 - back part of half of ink, including all bones and back shank, chopped off at right angle to backbone at the level of the sixth lumbar vertebra directly under podvzdoshny bone or at the level of the fourth sacral vertebra through podvzdoshny bone towards pubic and sciatic union.

B. In case of determination of number of the whole or split edges considered in the additional note 3. A, in attention undertake only the edges attached to spine column, whole or split.

4. The stated below terms mean:

(a) "the parts of carcasses which are not rolled" in commodity categories 0207 13 20-0207 13 60, 0207 14 20-0207 14 60, 0207 26 20-0207 26 70, 0207 27 20-0207 27 70, 0207 44 21-0207 44 61, 0207 45 21-0207 45 61, 0207 54 21-0207 54 61, 0207 55 21-0207 55 61 and 0207 60 21-0207 60 61 - the parts containing everything bones.

The parts of carcasses provided by this Item with partially remote bones join in commodity categories 0207 13 70, 0207 14 70, 0207 26 80, 0207 27 80, 0207 44 71, 0207 44 81, 0207 45 71, 0207 45 81, 0207 54 71, 0207 54 81, 0207 55 71, 0207 55 81 and 0207 60 81;

(b) "half" in commodity categories 0207 13 20, 0207 14 20, 0207 26 20, 0207 27 20, 0207 44 21, 0207 45 21, 0207 54 21, 0207 55 21 and 0207 60 21 - half of carcasses received by cutting along breast and backbone;

(c) "quarter timbers" in commodity categories 0207 13 20, 0207 14 20, 0207 26 20, 0207 27 20, 0207 44 21, 0207 45 21, 0207 54 21, 0207 55 21 and 0207 60 21 - the back or front quarter timbers received by cross razrub of half;

(d) "wings are whole, with tips or without tips" in commodity categories 0207 13 30, 0207 14 30, 0207 26 30, 0207 27 30, 0207 44 31, 0207 45 31, 0207 54 31, 0207 55 31 and 0207 60 31 - the parts of carcasses consisting of humeral, elbow and beam bones along with muscles. The thin end together with bone of wrist can be removed or left. Razruba shall be made on joints;

(e) "breast cut" in commodity categories 0207 13 50, 0207 14 50, 0207 26 50, 0207 27 50, 0207 44 51, 0207 45 51, 0207 54 51, 0207 55 51 and 0207 60 51 - the parts of carcasses consisting of the breast and edges located from each party together with muscles;

(f) "legs" in commodity categories 0207 13 60, 0207 14 60, 0207 44 61, 0207 45 61, 0207 54 61, 0207 55 61 and 0207 60 61 - the parts of carcasses consisting of femur and big and small tibial bones together with muscles. Razruba shall be made on joints;

(g) "shins of turkeys (the lower part of legs) "in commodity categories 0207 26 60 and 0207 27 60 - the parts of carcasses of turkeys consisting of big and small tibial bones together with muscles. Razruba shall be made on joints;

(h) "legs of turkeys, except shin" in commodity categories 0207 26 70 and 0207 27 70 - the parts of carcasses of turkeys consisting of femur together with muscles or of femur and big and small tibial bones together with muscles. Razruba shall be made on joints;

(ij) of "paletota of geese or ducks" in commodity categories 0207 44 71, 0207 45 71, 0207 54 71 and 0207 55 71 - carcasses of geese or ducks, wretched, completely gutted, brainless and pads, with withdrawn by chest bone, edges, spine column and sacrum, but with the left femoral, tibial and humeral bones.

5. Import duty which is applied to mixes of this group is calculated by the following method:

(a) if one of components of mix constitutes at least 90 Mas. the %, to mix is applied the same duty rate, as to this component;

(b) in other cases the duty rate corresponds to the highest rate of the duty applied to any component.

6. (a) Meat with seasonings which did not undergo thermal culinary treatment joins in groups 16. The term "meat with seasonings" is understood as the meat which did not undergo thermal culinary treatment, and seasoning is added in or on all surface of product and it is visible to the naked eye whether it is possible to determine on taste.

(b) products of goods item 0210, to which are added seasoning in the course of preparation, also join in this goods item provided that giving of seasonings does not change their characteristic signs.

7. The term "meat and edible meat offal, salty or in brine" in goods subline items 0210 11-0210 93 means meat and edible meat offal, deeply and regularly impregnated with salt in all parts, and have general content of 1,2 salt Mas. % or more provided that such pickles provides long-term storage.

In goods subline item 0210 99 term "meat and edible meat offal, salty or in brine" means meat and edible meat offal which deeply and are regularly impregnated with salt in all parts, and have general content of 1,2 salt Mas. % or more.
