Some questions of assignment of ranks to faces of command structure of ocean ships

According to the International convention about preparation and certification of seamen and execution of watch of 1978, the International convention about standards of preparation, certification of personnel of fishing boats and execution of watch of 1995, article 51 of the Code of trade navigation of Ukraine the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Approve Regulations on rank of faces of command structure of ocean ships and the enclosed procedure for their assignment.

2. Determine that:

the qualification documents of seamen issued before entry into force of this resolution remain in force before the expiration of their action or is termless if are issued is termless. At will owners of such qualification documents have the right without conducting check of professional competence at any time to replace them with the qualification documents issued according to Regulations on rank of faces of command structure of ocean ships and procedure for their assignment with the effective period having the qualification document that is replaced including is termless;

requirements to survey of the companies, organizations and organizations which carry out training of seamen established by the legislation, are applied within one year from the date of entry into force of this resolution. The documents on training of persons who are directly connected with preparation and competency evaluation of seamen in organizations on training of seamen, issued before entry into force of this resolution remain in force before the expiration of their action;

length of service of captains and faces of command structure of the coastal ships floating only in the protected waters and fishing boats within five years from the date of entry into force of this resolution can be confirmed by others, than the obedient book of the seaman, documents: certificates of swimming, references or service records;
