In the country system measures for further deepening of structural transformations to areas of technical regulation, standardization, metrology and certification, their reduction in compliance with international standards, to creation of the circle for broad application of standards, and also to implementation of modern methods in processes of assessment of conformity are taken.
In this regard there is also need for further regulation of the corrective actions applied for the offenses made in the field of technical regulation, standardization, metrology and certification, and also the prevention of abuses of regulations of assessment of conformity.
This Law to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the administrative responsibility makes the changes establishing responsibility for violation conformity assessment bodies of rules of assessment of conformity, the entailed release of products which are not conforming to requirements of technical regulations, or damnification to the physical person or legal entity which provided products for evaluating compliance. At the same time the powers of bodies of technical regulation, standardization, metrology and certification connected with hearing of cases about administrative offenses in this sphere are specified.
This Law serves the warning of abuses of regulations of assessment of conformity, and also increase in efficiency of hearing of cases of the administrative offenses made by officials of bodies of technical regulation, standardization, metrology and certification of cases.
