About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with further enhancement of activities of Audit Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In the country system measures for enhancement of system of the state financial control of effective management of the state financial resources, target and rational use of budgetary funds, and also for providing the effective organization of execution of acts of the legislation are taken.

At the same time now relevance acquires need of increase in openness and transparency of activities of Audit Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the determination of the purposes and procedure held by it control events, and also refining of functions of Audit Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan for implementation of the state control of execution of the laws including in the field of public procurements.

This Law provides investment of Audit Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan with powers on creation of the protocol on administrative offenses for petty theft and violation of the law about public procurements, and bodies of the State financial control of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan - for petty theft.

The changes providing obligations of Audit Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan on placement on the official website of data on work plans, financial offenses and results of their elimination and also according to the quarterly notification of the public on the activities are also made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About Audit Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan". Besides, forms and types of the control events held by Audit Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan are determined and its tasks on the organization of control of execution of the laws are specified.

This Law will serve enhancement of activities of Audit Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan and effective implementation of the tasks assigned to it, and also prevention of violations of the budget legislation and strengthening of budget discipline.
