In number of bodies, authorized to consider cases and to apply administrative punishments for making of offenses in the field of ecology and environmental protection, bodies for ecology and environmental protection, bodies of the state sanitary inspection, bodies of the state forestry and others enter.
At the same time the limited number of employees of the specified state bodies, and also lack of necessary powers at the staff of law-enforcement bodies, the military personnel (employees) of National guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan interferes with timely taking measures concerning offenders.
This Law in the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the administrative responsibility, the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About law-enforcement bodies" and "About National guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan" are made the changes providing investment of law-enforcement bodies and National guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the powers necessary for administrative prosecution of the perpetrators which made offenses in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
Besides, powers on registration of such administrative offenses in the field of protection of public order as animals abuse, the use of alcoholic products in public places, and others are conferred to security guard and patrol service of law-enforcement bodies.
This Law will promote ensuring execution of the legislation in the field of ecology and environmental protection, to ensuring public order, and also effective prevention of offenses in these spheres.
