Article 1

Bring in Item 3 of article 17 of the Federal Law of May 31, 2002 No. 63-FZ "About lawyer activities and legal profession in the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 2002, No. 23, Art. 2102; 2004, No. 52, Art. 5267; 2016, No. 23, Art. 3284; 2019, No. 49, Art. 6959) following changes:

Paragraph two to state 1) in the following edition:

"Person whose status of the lawyer is stopped on the basis provided by the subitem 4 of Item 1 of this Article has no right to be the representative in court (except as specified its participations in process as the legal representative) until repayment or removal of criminal record for making of intentional crime, but at least five years from the date of decision making about the termination of the status of the lawyer.";

To add 2) with the paragraph of the following content:

"Person whose status of the lawyer is stopped on the bases provided by subitems 1, 2 and 2.1 Items 2 of this Article has no right to be the representative in court (except as specified its participations in process as the legal representative) during the status of the lawyer of term specified in the decision on the termination after which such person is allowed to passing qualification examination on acquisition of the status of the lawyer.".

Article 2

This Federal Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.
