Article 1

Bring in part 2 of article 7 of the Federal Law of August 3, 2018 No. 280-FZ "About organic products and about modification of separate legal acts of the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 2018, No. 32, of the Art. 5073) change, having stated it in the following edition:

"2. The texts used for marking of organic products may contain the word "organic", its reducings or the word derivative of this word, separately or in combination with the name of organic products, specifying on the fact that products are received by method of organic production, and also the words "biodynamic", "biological", "ecological", "environmentally friendly", "green" or similar on word meaning or their reducings or the designation "eko", "bio" (taking into account the restrictions set by this Article). Requirements of this Article do not extend to marking of separate types of products in the following cases:

1) if when forming names of separate types of products regardless of method of its production technical regulations allow use of the designation "bio";

2) if the word "green" is used in such marking for designation of color of products or extent of its maturing;

3) if the phrase "green standard" is used for marking of agricultural products, agricultural raw materials and food with the improved characteristics.".

Article 2

1. This Federal Law becomes effective since September 1, 2025.
