About implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation about cooperation in the field of the treatment of spent nuclear fuel

In pursuance of article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of May 5, 2023 "About ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation about cooperation in the field of the treatment of spent nuclear fuel" the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES: No. 262-Z

1. Appoint the Belarusian representatives организациями*:

1.1. the republican unitary enterprise "Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant" (further – the state company "Belarusian NPP"), responsible for accomplishment of the following events:

loading of the irradiated heat-generating assemblies of nuclear reactors in packaging and their transfer of the Russian authorized organization for transportation to the Russian Federation;

the organization and implementation of transportations of the irradiated heat-generating assemblies of nuclear reactors and radioactive waste for the territory of the Republic of Belarus;

proper and timely financing of all actions for the address which are carried out by the Russian authorized organizations with the irradiated heat-generating assemblies of nuclear reactors within the agreements (contracts) signed with the Russian authorized organizations;

obtaining according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus of necessary licenses (permissions);

import to the territory of the Republic of Belarus of radioactive waste in amount, procedure and terms which are determined by conditions of the relevant agreements (contracts);

acceptance of radioactive waste from the Russian authorized organization;

transfer of radioactive waste to the republican unitary enterprise "Belarusian Organization for the Treatment of Radioactive Waste";

carrying out other works in coordination with the Russian authorized organizations;
