About the state supervision in the field of quality assurance and safety of foodstuff

1. Determine that the state supervision in the field of quality assurance and safety of foodstuff is performed:

a) federal executive bodies, authorized to exercise federal state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance behind compliance to the sanitary and epidemiologic and hygienic requirements established by regulating documents:

nutrition value of foodstuff;

safety of the foodstuff, materials and products contacting to foodstuff, perfumery and cosmetic products, means and products for hygiene of oral cavity, and also tobacco products (further hereinafter are referred to as - products);

safety of conditions of development, preparation for production and production of products, its storage, transportation, realization and use (use);

safety of the services rendered in the field of retail trade and the sphere of public catering;

conditions of utilization or destruction of low-quality, dangerous products;

the organizations and holding the sanitary and anti-epidemic (preventive) actions directed to prevention of diseases (poisonings) of the people connected with the use (use) of products;

conditions and quality of food of the population;

b) federal executive body and executive bodies of subjects of the Russian Federation, authorized to exercise respectively federal state veterinary supervision and regional state veterinary supervision behind compliance to the veterinary (veterinary and sanitary) requirements established by regulating documents:

safety in the veterinary relation of foodstuff of animal origin (meat and meat products, milk and molokoprodukt crude, eggs and products of their primary conversion, fish and seafood, honey and products of beekeeping);
