About measures for enhancement and expansion of scope by otorinolaringologichesky service

For the purpose of improvement of quality of delivery of health care in the field of otorhinolaryngology, expansion of scope of the needing segments of the population with highly skilled specialized medical services, support of activities of the non-state medical organizations, strengthening of material and technical resources of public institutions, preparation of medical personnel and development of science in the field:

1. Approve the offer of the Ministry of Health and Association of Uzbekistan of otorhinolaryngology and surgery of the head and neck on creation since September 1, 2023 of the Republican specialized scientific and practical medical center of otorhinolaryngology and diseases of the head and neck (further - the Center) with the status of the legal entity.

2. Determine that:

a) Center:

coordinates work in the field of otorhinolaryngology and will organize the activities on the basis of the "Center — Regional Medical Institutions — District (City) Medical Institutions" system;

adjusts rendering specialized medical care in the field of otorinolaringologichesky diseases and diseases of the head and neck, takes measures for training and development of skills of specialists and creates school of sciences in this direction;

implements modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of otorinolaringologichesky diseases and diseases of the head and neck in practice, and also expands scope with high-tech transactions in regions;

implements in practice of the program of prevention, early identification and treatment of otorinolaringologichesky diseases and diseases of the head and neck in organizations of primary health care of health care system;

together with the non-state medical organizations implements modern and high-technology methods of treatment of otorinolaringologichesky diseases and diseases of the head and neck in practice of the state and non-state medical organizations;

b) in the Center from 2024/2025 academic years preparation of medical personnel on specialization "otorhinolaryngology" by means of clinical internship will be organized;
