About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning enhancement of state regulation in the field of the treatment of pesticides and agrochemicals

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About pesticides and agrochemicals" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1995, No. 14, Art. 91 with the following changes):

1) in preamble the word of "citizens" shall be replaced with words "physical persons";

2) in Article 1:

a) in part one:

paragraphs two, the third and fifth to state in the following edition:

"pesticides - the toxic substances, their connections or mixes of substances intended for destruction, regulation and the termination of development of harmful organisms owing to which activities plants are surprised animals, people and harm is done to material values, and also rodents, weeds, wood, shrubby vegetation, the littering species of fish. the term "pesticides" also includes remedies of plants;

agrochemicals - the organic, mineral and bacterial fertilizers, chemical ameliorants, regulators of growth of plants and other substances applied to increase in fertility of soils, productivity of crops and improvement of product quality of plant origin";

"residual quantities are content of one or several substances which are present at plants or products of plant origin, at foodstuff of animal origin, drinking water, air, the soil or at other places of the environment which presence is result of use of pesticides, including their active ingredients and metabolites, products of disintegration and/or reaction products of such substances".;

the tenth and eleventh to exclude paragraphs;

add with paragraphs the fourteenth or eighteenth the following content:

"active ingredients - substances, including the microorganisms having general or directed effect on harmful organisms, plants, their parts or products of plant origin;
