About modification of article 11 of the Law on nationality of the Republic of Moldova No. 1024/2000
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - Item c) parts (1) article 11 of the Law on nationality of the Republic of Moldova No. 1024/2000 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, special release of December 9, 2005), with subsequent changes to state in the following edition:
"c) been born in the territory of the Republic of Moldova from parents who are citizens of other state or one of which is the stateless person or person using international protection, and another - the foreign citizen if on the date of filing of application at least one of parents has rights to stay or uses the international protection provided by competent authorities of the Republic of Moldova or is recognized as competent authorities of the Republic of Moldova the stateless person and also if the child corresponds to legal conditions for recognition by his face without nationality.".
Art. II. - (1) This law becomes effective since November 1, 2023.
(2) to the Government in three-months time from the date of publication of this law in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova:
a) bring the regulations into accord with this law;
b) develop and approve the regulations necessary for implementation of this law;
c) provide to Parliament of the offer on reduction of regulations to compliance with this law.
