About measures for expansion of production of mineral fertilizers with high value added

For the purpose of broad attraction of direct foreign investments in chemical industry, further growth in volumes of production of complex and phosphoric mineral fertilizers with high value added, and also according to article 75 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

1. Agree with the offer of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on provision till February 1, 2023 within implementation of the investment project "Construction of Chemical Complex on Production of Complex Mineral Fertilizers in the Samarkand Region" of the following tax and customs privileges:

reduction by 50 percent of rate of the income tax for the involved legal entities - nonresidents of the Republic of Uzbekistan (including the income tax withheld at payment source), and also income tax for physical persons - nonresidents of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

release from customs duties and reduction by 50 percent of rate of the excise tax for the imported equipments, the special equipment, machines and mechanisms, components and nodes, spare parts, raw materials and materials, processing equipment, devices, the software, technical documentation and the fuels and lubricants which are not made in the Republic of Uzbekistan according to the lists created in accordance with the established procedure.

2. To impose control of execution of this resolution on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. N. Aripov.
