About use of domain names in the special public .gov.ua domain

This Law determines legal and organizational basis of use of domain names in the special public .gov.ua domain public authorities, local government bodies and the companies, organizations, the organizations of the state pattern of ownership.

Article 1. Determination of terms

1. In this Law the stated below terms are used in the following value:

1) the administrator of the special public .gov.ua domain (further - the administrator) - the central executive body performing administration of address space in national segment of the Internet on use of domain names in the special public .gov.ua domain, including function on registration of domain names in the .gov.ua domain and other functions when using domain name;

2) administration of the public domain of the highest level of .ua (further - administration of the domain. ua) - the company which based on the agreement with public non-commercial Internet corporation to destination of domain names and numbers (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, further - ICANN) performs ensuring stability, safety and reliability of use of the public domain of the highest level. ua in the international hierarchical system of domain names on the Internet;

3) administration realization by the administrator of the established rights and obligations;

4) removal of domain name in the special public .gov.ua domain (further - removal of domain name) - package of measures for withdrawal of rights to use of domain name;

5) use of domain name in the special public .gov.ua domain - registration, re-registration, registration prolongation, removal, etc. of domain names by public authorities, local government bodies and the companies, organizations, the organizations of the state pattern of ownership in the special public .gov.ua domain;

6) delegation of the .gov.ua domain - creation on servers of domain names of the public domain of the highest level. ru of the formalized record about other servers of the domain names providing addressing of the corresponding name of this domain, use of this domain;
