About modification of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine concerning features of calculation of terms of pre-judicial investigation in the conditions of warlike situation

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2013, Art. No. No. 9-13, 88) the following changes:

1) in Article 219:

the second to add part with the paragraph the fourth the following content:

"The term of pre-judicial investigation provided by part two of this Article is not estimated in the criminal proceedings on crimes provided by Articles 437-439 or part one of article 442 of the Criminal code of Ukraine";

the sixth to add part with the paragraph the fourth the following content:

"In case of consolidation of criminal proceedings according to the procedure, stipulated in Article the 217th of this Code if pre-judicial investigation at least in one of them is performed concerning the crimes provided by Articles 437-439 or part one of article 442 of the Criminal code of Ukraine, the aggregate term of pre-judicial investigation established by part two of this Article is not estimated";

Part the eighth Article 615 to state 2) in the following edition:

"8. In criminal proceedings in which from the moment of entering of data on criminal offense into the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations and on Date of Introduction of warlike situation to any person it is not reported about suspicion term of Date of Introduction of warlike situation before date of its termination or cancellation does not join in the aggregate terms provided by part two of article 219 of this Code.
