About introduction of amendments to article 43-1 of the Law on regime of foreigners in the Republic of Moldova No. 200/2010

This law shifts part (3) Article 24 of the Directive (EU) of 2016/801 European parliament and Council of May 11, 2016 about conditions of entrance and accommodation of citizens of the third countries for the purpose of scientific research, training, professional training, volunteer activities, programs of exchange for school students or educational projects, and also work on the au pair program (new edition) published in the Official magazine of the European Union by L 132 of May 21, 2016 with the last changes made by the Directive (EU) 2021/1883 European parliament and Council of October 20, 2021 about conditions of entrance and accommodation of citizens of the third countries for the purposes of implementation of highly skilled labor activity and about cancellation of the Directive 2009/50/EC of Council.

Art. I. - In article 43-1 of the Law on regime of foreigners in the Republic of Moldova No. 200/2010 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2010, Art. No. 179-181, 610), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

part (to add 8) with Item s) the following content:

"s) citizens of the European Union or other states which list affirms the Government, not relating to one of the categories specified in Items a) - r), arrived for a period of up to 90 days.";

in part (the words "during the time which is not exceeding 10 hours a week or its equivalent in days for one year." shall be replaced with words 9) "with observance of the normal duration of working hours provided in part (2) Article 95 of the Labor code No. 154/2003, but no more than 1564 hours a year are total.".

Art. II. - To the government in three-months time from the date of publication of this law to bring the regulations into accord with its provisions.
