About modification of some regulations (strengthening of regulating authority in the field of electronic communications and synchronization of effective periods of licenses to use of radio frequencies)
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - In the Law on electronic communications No. 241/2007 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 399-410, 679), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:
1. In all text of the law, except for Item e) parts (5) Articles 26, parts (2) Articles 39, parts (1) and (Articles 40, the words "National Service on Management of Radio Frequencies" in any case to replace 3) with the word "Agency" in the corresponding case.
2. In Article 7:
in part (1) the words "Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development *" shall be replaced with words "The Ministry of Economic Development and digitalizations";
in Item b) parts (2) words "transparency and effective management of range" shall be replaced with words "promotions of transparent and effective use of range";
in Item b) parts (the words "management and" to exclude 3).
3. In Article 8:
in part (2) words "part (" shall be replaced with words 3) "parts (3), (4) and (6)";
add Article with part (10) the following content:
"(10) the Agency shall provide gratuitously technical support in the field of radio frequencies, necessary for the organizations responsible for safety of the state, defense and public order, for implementation of the powers provided by their special laws.".
4. Part (Article 11 to state 9) in the following edition:
"(9) the Organizational structure, the staff list, compensation of workers and the budget of the Agency affirm Administrative board of the Agency.".
