About introduction of amendments to the Criminal code of Ukraine and the Penitentiary code of Ukraine concerning enhancement of provisions of the current legislation regarding criminal liability for making of the military criminal offenses connected with abuses of regulations of operation of fighting or special vehicles, accomplishment of flights or preparation for them, ship navigations

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Criminal code of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001, Art. No. 25-26, 131) such changes:

1. In Article 415:

Paragraph two of part one to state 1) in the following edition:

"it is punished by office restriction for a period of up to one year or restriction of freedom for a period of one up to three years, or continence in disciplinary battalion up to one year, or imprisonment for a period of one up to five years";

Paragraph two of part two to state 2) in the following edition:

"it is punished by office restriction for a period of up to two years or restriction of freedom for a period of three up to five years, or continence in disciplinary battalion up to two years, or imprisonment for a period of five up to ten years".

2. State Articles 416 and 417 in the following edition:

"Article 416. Abuse of regulations of flights or preparation for them

1. Abuse of regulations of flights or preparation for them, and also the abuse of regulations of operation of aircraft which entailed injured heavy bodily harms or caused material damage in large size -

are punished by office restriction for a period of up to one year or restriction of freedom for a period of up to two years, or continence in disciplinary battalion for a period of up to one year, or imprisonment for a period of two up to seven years.
