About modification of some regulations

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In appendix to the Law on the Regulations on procedure for the solution of questions of the administrative-territorial device of the Republic of Moldova No. 741/1996 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1996, Art. No. 20-21, 216), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

add Item 2 with the words "or on government proposal based on part (7) article 11 of the Law on administrative decentralization No. 435/2006.";

add the Section III with Item 13-1 of the following content:

"13-1. In case of voluntary enlargement of administrative and territorial units the name of the administrative and territorial unit chosen as the administrative center becomes the name of the enlarged administrative and territorial unit.";

add Item 17 with the subitem of b-1) of the following content:

"b-1) in case of voluntary enlargement of administrative and territorial units:

the bill on introduction of amendments to the Law on the administrative-territorial device of the Republic of Moldova No. 764/2001, approved by the Government, with appendix of the file on each of processes of voluntary enlargement, developed according to provisions of the Law on voluntary enlargement of administrative and territorial units;".

Art. II. - In article 5 of the Law on the status of the local elected person No. 768/2000 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2000, No. 34, of the Art. 231), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:
