About introduction of amendments to the Electoral code No. 325/2022

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Electoral code No. 325/2022 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2022, Art. No. 426-427, 770), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In Article 16:

part (to add 2) with Item f) the following content:

"f) persons answering the removal moment with the Constitutional court of the resolution on recognition of illegality of political party to at least one of the following criteria mattering in the context of pronouncement of the relevant resolution:

1) are suspects, persons accused, defendants or convicts for making of crimes which were given by the Constitutional court as argument for recognition of illegality of political party;

2) were debarred from elections as a result of violation of the electoral laws earlier that was given as argument for recognition of illegality of political party;

3) are guilty of making of acts which led to entering of these persons into the international sanctions lists of certain international organizations or certain states that was given as argument for recognition of illegality of political party;

4) was made by other acts which, though do not belong explicitly to the actions provided by Items 1), were specified as the arguments adduced in the resolution of the Constitutional court on recognition of illegality of political party.";

add Article with parts (2-1)-(2-4) of the following content:

(2-1) Restriction provided in Item f) parts (2), is effective during three-year term from the date of removal with the Constitutional court of the resolution on recognition of illegality of political party.
