3. Assign to Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare:

b) maintaining the State register of the foodstuff, materials and products permitted for production in the territory of the Russian Federation or import to the territory of the Russian Federation and turnover (further hereinafter is referred to as - the state register).

State registration of new foodstuff of animal origin and maintaining the state register concerning such products is performed by Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare together with Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.
