About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About prevention and counteraction of legalization (washing) of income gained in the criminal way, to financing of terrorism and financing of distribution of weapons of mass destruction" concerning politically significant persons

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About prevention and counteraction of legalization (washing) of income gained in the criminal way, to financing of terrorism and financing of distribution of weapons of mass destruction" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2020, No. 25, Art. 171 with the following changes) the following changes:

1. In Article 1 part one:

20, paragraph one of Item 28 and paragraph one of Item 37 of the word "within the last three years" to exclude 1) in Item;

2) in Item 26 the word "eighth" to replace with the word of "ninth", the word of "ninth" - the word of "tenth", and the word of "fifteenth" - the word of "sixteenth".

2. In Article 8 part two:

"Second and third" shall be replaced with words 1) in the subitem "an" of Item 8 of the word "second, third and sixth";

To "state aggressor" shall be replaced with words 2) in the subitem "an" of Item 11 of the word to "the state performing the armed aggression against Ukraine".

3. 2 parts three of Article 9 to state Item in the following edition:

"2) providing the notification of the holder of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, physical persons - entrepreneurs and public forming about the revealed discrepancies between the information about the final beneficial owners and structure of property of the client containing in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, physical persons - entrepreneurs and public forming, and information on final beneficial owners and structure of property of the client received by the subject of primary financial monitoring as a result of implementation of proper check of the client".
