This Law establishes legal, organizational and economic basis of implementation of activities in the field of beekeeping, the directions and procedure for state regulation, and also guarantee of protection of the property rights in industry, is directed to protection and increase in bee families, the made products and effective use of honey bees in pollination of entomophillous plants.

Chapter I. General provisions

Article 1. Basic concepts

In this Law the following basic concepts are used:

1) natural honey - natural sweet food product which is developed by working bees during their life activity from nectar of the plants or substances emitted with live parts of plants;

2) artificial honey - the honey type foreign similar to natural honey which does not have medicinal properties and bees do not participate in its production;

3) foundation - artificial basis for construction of cells of cells which are made of thin wax leaves with ottisnuty on them cells of certain sizes;

4) pollen pellet bee - mix of flower pollen, collected and created by working bees in lumps with addition of nectar and secrets of fodder glands in baskets of the third pair of legs for transfer in nest of bees and zalitiya honey;

5) beekeeping - the industry of agricultural production directed to cultivation, content and use of honey bees for production and pollination of entomophillous plants;

6) working bee - the female of bees who does not have capability to reproduction, pollinating plants, collecting honey and flower pollen and making industry products;

7) wreckers of bee families - separate animal species, birds, insects who for the purpose of production of food destroy honey bees or for the purpose of production of honey destroy beehives of honey bees;
