Committee on standardization, metrology and certification of the Department of Energy, industry and trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of standards, metrology and technical supervision of the Republic of Moldova which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties, being guided by economic interests of both Parties; considering mutual interest in providing security guarantees and quality of mutually delivered goods for life and health of the person, environmental protection; recognizing need of carrying out the coordinated works but certifications of products, processes (quality systems, production), services agreed as follows:

Article 1

Fundamental organizational and methodical documents of national systems of certification of the Parties are harmonized among themselves and mutually are recognized.

The changes made to documents of national systems of certification of the Parties are subject to mutual consideration for the purpose of their recognition.

Article 2

Action of this agreement extends to mutually delivered goods which according to legislations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Moldova is subject to obligatory certification in national systems of certification of the Parties.

Article 3

The parties mutually recognize the certificates of conformity issued in national systems of certification on products made in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Moldova.

The parties exchange lists:

products which are subject to obligatory certification. Notifications on the changes made to lists will be represented at least in one month prior to change commissioning;

certification bodies and test laboratories accredited in the national systems of certification in process of their accreditation, but at least once a quarter.
