About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" concerning simplification of the procedure of provision to persons of participant status of fighting, persons with disability owing to war, the member of the family of the died (died) Defender or the Defender of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Introduce in the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 45, Art. 425 with the following changes) the following changes:

1. 19 parts one of Article 6 to add Item with the paragraph third the following content:

"Persons specified in paragraph one of this Item or their representatives have the right according to the Law of Ukraine "About features of provision public (electronic public) services" to submit the application (address) in paper or electronic form means of the Single state web portal of electronic services and/or the Unified state register of veterans of war according to the procedure, established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, to the commission on questions of consideration of materials about recognition by combatants with indication of the data necessary for provision of participant status of fighting, or to attach the copies of the relevant documents (in the presence) certified by the signature of the subject of the address. In case of lack of such documents (data) they are requested at authorized body or at person within interdepartmental interaction of subjects of powers of authority in the document form or the data not later than in five calendar days from receipt date of the statement (address). The authorized body or person shall provide required documents (data) or report the reasonable reason of their absence not later than in 15 calendar days from receipt date of such request. Not later than in 10 calendar days after receipt of reply to the request the commission on questions of consideration of materials about provision of participant status of fighting makes the decision on provision of the corresponding status".
