About modification of Rules of work of archive organizations of Ukraine concerning decommunization of accounting of archive documents

According to articles 12 and 22 of the Law of Ukraine "About National Archive Fund and archive organizations", the Regulations on the public archive agency of Ukraine approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 21, 2015 No. 870, I ORDER:

1. Make change to Rules of work of the archive organizations of Ukraine approved by the order of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine of April 8, 2013 No. 656/5, registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on April 10, 2013 at No. 584/23116, having stated Item 4.2 of Chapter 4 of the Section IV in the following edition:

"4.2. Documents NAF in total concern to two organizational groups: to "ancient acts" and "new acts". Chronological border of the specified separation is 1917, the beginning of events of the Ukrainian revolution of 1917-1921.

Archives which have stored funds of "ancient acts" and "new acts" consider them separately with independent serial numbering, except for the specialized archives storing documents of personal origin and audiovisual documents.

In order to avoid duplication of archive codes and respect for the principle of origin archives If necessary apply alphabetic indexation of funds of "new acts":

Index "H" - for archive funds of the bodies, organizations, the organizations, structures and forming of occupational administration of Nazi Germany and its states allies operating in the territory of Ukraine in the years of World War II;
