About additional measures for safety of the goods which are under the supervision of the public veterinary service

In recent years in the country large-scale reforms and state programs in the field of complex development of livestock production and poultry farming are consistently undertaken, and also practical measures on ensuring epizootic wellbeing and food security are taken.

At the same time as a result of lack of effective system of consumer protection from consumption of dangerous and low-quality products there is number of problems, including risk of distribution in the republic of causative agents of infectious diseases among animals and consumers.

For the purpose of creation of effective system of protection on prevention of penetration and distribution of causative agents of especially dangerous infectious diseases in the territory of the republic, and also further simplification and enhancement of the procedures of commodity importation under control to the Public veterinary service, the DECIDES: Cabinet of Ministers

1. Establish since January 1, 2021 procedure according to which:

import of goods under control to the Public veterinary service to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan by the export organizations and faces included in the register of the export organizations and persons (foreign exporters) making, overworking and storing the goods under control to the Public veterinary service is allowed (further - the Register);

for receipt of the veterinary import permit of the goods under control to the public veterinary service, collection in single size of basic settlement size is levied;

this procedure does not extend to the goods under control to the public veterinary service imported in emergency situations for participation in the international exhibitions, samples for laboratory analyses, and also for diplomatic corps, educational institutions, the scientific and state purposes.

2. To the state committee of veterinary science and development of livestock production of the Republic of Uzbekistan in three-months time to approve Regulations on procedure for forming and maintaining the Register.
