About the state statistics

The purpose of this Law is creation of the legal basis of realization of single state policy in the field of the official statistical recording aimed at providing complete, reliable, evidence-based and timely official statistical information about social, economic, demographic and ecological position of the Kyrgyz Republic.
For the purposes of this Law the following basic concepts are used:
the state statistics - centralized system of collection, processing, the analysis, distribution, storage, protection and use of statistical information;
the state statistical activities - set of the actions connected with carrying out the state statistical observations, the organization and maintaining the state statistics, and also with development, enhancement and use of statistical methodology;
system of the state statistics - set of primary statistical and administrative data received from the respondents created by subjects of the official statistical recording of official statistical information which are part of information resources of the country the, and also official statistical methodology and information technologies providing the official statistical recording according to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic;
the official statistical recording - the state activities for forming of official statistical information on social, economic, demographic and ecological position of the Kyrgyz Republic and its provision to users (distribution);
