1. This Federal Law establishes conditions and the extent of liability of the military personnel for the damage caused by them in case of fulfillment of duties of military service to property of military unit and also determines procedure for compensation of the caused damage.
2. The citizens staying in the voluntary forming provided by the Federal Law of May 31, 1996 No. 61-FZ "About defense" (further also - voluntary forming), are brought to liability for the damage caused by them in case of fulfillment of duties under the contract on stay in the voluntary forming to property with which voluntary forming is provided according to the procedure provided by the specified Federal Law and indemnify such loss on conditions, in sizes and procedure which are provided by this Federal Law for the military personnel passing military service under the contract taking into account the features of compensation of damage and production of cash deduction established by this Federal Law from monetary pay of the citizens staying in voluntary forming.
