Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 12, 2001 No. 56-Z "About protection of ozone layer" the following changes:
1. To state preamble and Article 1 in the following edition:
"This Law establishes the legal basis of protection of ozone layer, the mode of the treatment of ozone-depleting substances and is directed to protection of life and health of the person, the environment against the adverse effects caused by destruction of ozone layer.
Article 1. The main terms used in this Law and their determinations
For the purposes of this Law the following main terms and their determinations are used:
recovery of ozone-depleting substances - processing of the recuperated ozone-depleting substances, including filtering, drying, distillation, chemical processing, for the purpose of recovery of their consumer properties to compliance to requirements of technical regulatory legal acts, technical regulations of the Customs union and Eurasian Economic Union, obligatory for observance;
hydrofluorocarbons - ozone-depleting substances, the fluorinated derivatives of saturated acyclic hydrocarbons which list is determined by Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, and also their mix, the address of which is subject to regulation according to the Montreal protocol on the substances destroying ozone layer of September 16, 1987 (further - the Montreal protocol);
use of ozone-depleting substances - use of ozone-depleting substances in case of maintenance, repair of the equipment and technical devices for which according to technical characteristics ozone-depleting substances, and also as the frothers cleaning solvents, sterilizers are necessary for laboratory researches, disinfecting and cleaning of quarantinable objects, including quarantine products, fire extinguishing;
