LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

About change of the laws concerning fight against terrorism

Accepted by the House of Representatives on December 7, 2023

Approved by Council of the Republic on December 13, 2023

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 3, 2002 No. 77-Z "About fight against terrorism" the following changes:

1. In part three of Article 6 of the word "state organizations" to replace with the word of "organization".

2. To add Article 7 before part one with part of the following content:

"The state security agencies coordinate activities of the subjects who are directly fighting terrorism (except for the Presidential Security Service of the Republic of Belarus), other state bodies and other organizations regarding realization of the powers by them in the field of fight against terrorism.".

3. Add the Law with Article 11-2 of the following content:

"Article 11-2. Involvement of the organization performing collection of cash and (or) transportation of cash, other values to protection of objects, maintenance and safety of physical persons and vehicles in zone of carrying out counter-terrorist operation

According to the decision of the head of operational staff on management of counter-terrorist operation (the head of counter-terrorist operation) for protection of objects, maintenance and safety of physical persons and vehicles in zone of carrying out counter-terrorist operation the organization performing collection of cash and (or) transportation of cash, other values can be attracted.

Employees of service of collection of the organization performing the collection of cash and (or) transportation of cash, other values involved to protection of objects, maintenance and safety of physical persons and vehicles in zone of carrying out counter-terrorist operation have the right to use of physical force, application and (or) use of weapon and ammunition to it according to the procedure and on the conditions established by the Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 8, 2006 No. 175-Z "About security activities" for workers of the militarized protection.".
