Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About protection of the rights of the child" of March 18, 2015 (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2015, No. 3, Art. 218; 2018, No. 1, Art. 21; 2020, No. 12, Art. 914) following amendments:
1. To add part 1 of Article 11 with the third offer of the following content:
"Application or threat of use of violence in relation to the child is forbidden.".
2. Add with Article 11 (1) the following content:
"Article 11 (1). Child's right to protection
1. Each child has right of defense.
2. The parents or persons replacing them, guardianship and custody bodies, and in cases, stipulated by the legislation the Republic of Tajikistan, other bodies and the organizations shall undertake measures for protection of the child.
3. In case of violation of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of the child, including in case of failure to carry out or inadequate accomplishment by parents (one of them) or persons replacing them, obligations on content, education and education of the child or in case of abuse of the parent rights, the child who can independently express the opinion has the right to address directly for protection of the rights and legitimate interests in guardianship and custody bodies, and also in other authorized state bodies.".
3. To add part 1 of Article 14 with the second and third offers of the following content:
"The child's right to expression of opinion is not limited in view of its age. Opportunity to express the opinion in form, desirable for it, within the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan shall be given to the child.".
