About introduction of amendments to the Federal law "About the State Genomic Registration in the Russian Federation"

Article 1

Bring in the Federal Law of December 3, 2008 No. 242-FZ "About the state genomic registration in the Russian Federation" (The Russian Federation Code, 2008, No. 49, Art. 5740; 2023, No. 6, Art. 915) following changes:

Article 1 to add 1) with Item 7 of the following content:

"7) close relatives of person, the missing person, - persons which are in biological relationship with person, the missing person (parents, children, full brothers and (or) sisters).";

Part 1 of Article 7 to add 2) with Item 5 of the following content:

Part 1 of Article 9 to add 3) with Item 2.2 of the following content:

"2. 2) persons specified in Item 5 of part 1 of article 7 of this Federal Law are carried out by bodies of pretrial investigation, bodies of inquiry together with divisions of law-enforcement bodies of the Russian Federation within which competence the specified type of activity is;";

4) Article 12 to add with part 4 following of content:

"4. The genomic information obtained when carrying out the state genomic registration of persons specified in Item 5 of part 1 of article 7 of this Federal Law is stored before establishment of the location of person, the missing person, but no more than 70 years.";

Part 1 of Article 13 to add 5) with Item 3.3 of the following content:

"3. 3) from persons specified in Item 5 of part 1 of article 7 of this Federal Law - bodies of pretrial investigation, bodies of inquiry with involvement of specialists in the field of criminalistics (receipt of biological material from persons recognized incapacitated, or minors who are close relatives of persons, missing persons is performed in the presence of legal representatives of persons recognized incapacitated or minors);";
