About introduction of amendments to the Law on the electric power No. 107/2016

Art. I. - In the Law on the electric power No. 107/2016 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2016, Art. No. 193-203, 413), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In part (7) Article 48 of the word "and orphanages", shall be replaced with words ", orphanages and networks of public lighting,".

2. Add Article 55 with part (6-1) following contents:

"(6-1) By the written request of not residential customer the operator of distributive system performs periodic metrological checking of the measuring equipment which is directly connected to power distribution network with payment by not residential customer of the rate for rendering this additional service approved by the Agency according to Methodology of calculation, approval and application of regulated rates for the additional services provided by operators of systems of electric utility sector.".

3. Add Article 58 with parts (4) - (9) the following content:

"(4) For arrangement of networks of public lighting bodies of local public authority have the right to use on a grant basis columns of distribution power supply networks based on the agreement of free use signed with the operator of distributive system. Mandatory provisions of this agreement of free use are developed and affirm the Agency, regulating the rights and obligations of the Parties of the agreement.

(5) Arrangement of local public authority of networks of public lighting by bodies is performed based on the Regulations of arrangement of the networks of public lighting developed and approved by the Agency according to the part Item g 4) (1) Articles 7, and their operation is performed according to the Minimum regulations of operation of electroinstallations of not residential customers developed and approved by the Agency according to the part Item g 2) (1) Article 7.

(6) Norma arrangements of networks of public lighting establish mandatory requirements to procedure for arrangement, reconstruction and protection of the networks of public lighting including equipped on columns of distribution power supply networks.
