1. The regulations on strong points of liquidation of emergency situations determine purpose, tasks and functions, structure of forces and means of strong points of liquidation of emergency situations.
2. Strong point of liquidation of emergency situations (further strong point) - the division on emergency situations created for ensuring readiness for carrying out rescue and other urgent works in zone of emergence of regional, republican and cross-border emergency situations of natural and technogenic nature (further - emergency situation) in which the reserve of the rescue equipment, equipment, equipment, fuels and lubricants, fire-fighting, neutralized and other substances is created.
3. Strong points will be organized based on divisions on emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus.
4. The quantity of strong points, their dislocation and zones of servicing are determined by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus (further - the Ministry of Emergency Situations) proceeding from dislocation of pozharovzryvoopasny and other especially important objects and possibility of concentration during minimum short time of required number of forces and means for liquidation of emergency situations.
