About introduction of amendments to the Law on ensuring activities of the President of the Republic of Moldova No. 1111/1997

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on ensuring activities of the President of the Republic of Moldova No. 1111/1997 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1997, Art. No. 16-17, 180), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. Add Article 13 with parts (4) - (7) the following content:

"(4) Pension is paid according to the statement of person having pension entitlement, his guardian (custodian) or the representative appointed by proxy or on the representative power based on the digital signature registered in the Register of representative powers based on the digital signature.

(5) Pensions are granted and paid by National cash desk of social insurance at the expense of transfers from the government budget in the budget of the national social insurance.

(6) the Procedure for the organization of activities to destination and pension payment is determined by the Government.

(7) the Pensions granted according to this law are subject to indexation according to article 13 of the Law on the public pension system No. 156/1998.".

2. State Article 18 in the following edition:

"Article 18. Covering of expenses

(1) Selling expenses of provisions of this law are covered by financial means of the government budget, and the expenses necessary for realization of provisions of Article 13 become covered at the expense of transfers from the government budget in the budget of the national social insurance.

(2) the Material security provided by this law is performed at the expense of means of the Office of the President of the Republic of Moldova and the State office.".

Art. II. - To the office of the President of the Republic of Moldova to transfer in electronic format to National cash desk of social insurance documents and information on appointment and payment of the pensions to receivers of pensions appointed about day of entry into force of this law who held position of the President of the Republic of Moldova.
