To add 1) with Article 8.1 of the following content:
"Article 8.1. Technical control of the vessel
1. The shipowner of the technical control of the vessel having the right to charge under the agreement technical control of the vessel to the technical managing director with implementation of the rights by it and fulfillment of duties of the shipowner which are stipulated by the legislation the Russian Federation and international treaties of the Russian Federation.
2. In this Code are understood as technical control of the vessel activities for operation of the vessel, including the organization of works on content in operational condition of the vessel, the case, equipment, mechanisms and systems of the vessel, and also according to the appeal to bodies of issue of ship's papers behind receipt of ship's papers and receipt of ship's papers.
3. Under the agreement of technical control of the vessel the shipowner charges to the technical managing director technical control of the vessel, and the technical managing director shall for remuneration exercise technical control of the vessel which is specified in the agreement of technical control of the vessel, during the term of this agreement.
4. The technical managing director is the legal entity or the individual entrepreneur who render services in technical control of the vessel as main type of business activity. Requirements to the technical managing director to which the shipowner can charge technical control of the vessel affirm the Government of the Russian Federation.
5. The agreement of technical control of the vessel is signed for the term of at least one year which can be extended by the parties of this agreement. The duration of the agreement of technical control of the vessel cannot exceed five years.
