About measures for the organization of activities of the Uzbek agency on technical regulation
For the purpose of ensuring execution of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of February 27, 2024 No. UP-41 "About Measures for Further Enhancement of Public Administration in the field of Technical Regulation":
1. Approve:
The program of measures for further enhancement of area of technical regulation according to appendix No. 1 *;
The program of review and updating of technical regulations according to appendices No. No. 2 * and 2a *;
The list of the standards and high-precision measuring devices which are purchased at the expense of means of the Government budget for public institution "Uzbek national institute of metrology" according to appendix No. 3*.
2. For the purpose of further enhancement of system of the state control in providing the population with high-quality and safe products to agree with the offers of the Uzbek agency on technical regulation (further - the Agency) providing:
a) application since October 1, 2024 of the following corrective actions for offenses in the field of technical regulation:
for failure to carry out of instructions about retirement of products or response at least 60 percent of products which are not conforming to requirements of regulating documents in the field of technical regulation - the financial sanction to legal entities in the amount of 100 percent of cost of goods sold;
in case of confirmation of the facts of production and the sales of products which is not conforming to requirements of regulating documents in the field of technical regulation - suspension by Inspectorate for control in the field of technical regulation (further - Inspection) the certificate of conformity which is drawn up on these products;
in case of identification of factors of realization of low-quality products as a result of non-compliance with rules (including not evaluating compliance of products to all obligatory indicators) certification body - suspension of activities of this certification body by Inspectorate;
