About modification of some regulations (the provision relating to the sphere of alcoholic products)
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. – In the Law on production and turnover of ethyl alcohol and alcoholic products No. 1100/2000 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2023, No. 126, of the Art. 197), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:
1. Add the law with formula of harmonization of the following content:
"This law shifts Article 2 of Regulations (EU) 2019/787 European parliament and Council of April 17, 2019 about determination, the description, representation and labeling of alcoholic drinks, about use of names of alcoholic drinks in case of representation and labeling of other foodstuff, about protection of names of places of origin of alcoholic drinks, about use of ethyl alcohol and distillates of agricultural origin in alcoholic beverages, and also about cancellation of Regulations (EU) No. 110/2008, of the European Union published in the Official magazine of L 130 of May 17, 2019, with the subsequent changes made by the Delegated regulations (EC) 2022/1303 Commissions of April 25, 2022.".
2. In all text of the law of the word "hard alcoholic drinks" shall be replaced with words "alcoholic drink with volume fraction of alcohol at least 25%" in the corresponding case.
3. In Article 1:
in the concept "ethyl alcohol" of the word "synthetic, received by catalytic hydration of ethylene." shall be replaced with words "synthetic origin.";
exclude the concepts "alcoholic beverages" and "hard alcoholic drinks";
in concept "producers" of the word "the necessary equipment," shall be replaced with words "production facilities";
in the concept "distillate of agricultural origin" of the word of "alcoholic drink" shall be replaced with words "alcoholic drink";
add Article with concepts of the following content:
"packaging from nonconventional materials – the packaging made of ceramics, porcelain, faience, tree or crystal;
